Papersoft has rocked Mobile World Congress and represented the Portuguese technology at the highest level and by the second consecutive year.

The largest mobile event in the world that took place in Barcelona between the 26th of February and the 1st of March was a great opportunity for presenting our app solution for emergent markets (with particular emphasis on Africa) that pretends to simplify the traditional paper-based customer’s onboarding process into a mobile, secure and fast way.

According to our CEO Daniel Alves: “We want to ensure that telecommunications, banking and insurance companies are able to collect their customers’ data and identity within minutes in accordance with local legislation, allowing them to significantly increase the number of sales, customers and data about their business”

Papersoft App is promoting financial inclusion by allowing customer’ s registration and identity validation (KYC) and agent network management. For the present, 2 billion people don’t have access to financial services and it’s estimated that until 2020 more than 725 million people will have access to financial services. Since last year, our mobile app is serving more than 27 thousand agents and has registered about 16 thousand clients in Mozambique.
