For the 6th year in a row, AIIM – Association for Information and Image Management – is organizing the popular global campaign World Paper Free Day (#WPFD). This year’s edition takes place on November 6 and Papersoft is on the frontline.
«Business at the speed of paper is no longer acceptable and this is why we are once again involved in the World Paper Free Day initiative. According to our own DNA and vision, eliminating paper from processes is an opportunity to automate operational procedures, bring agility to the workforce, streamline records management and rethink our client business models», Hugo Pacheco, Head of Sales & Solutions at Papersoft, said.
WPFD is an AIIM initiative that encourages people and businesses to go paper free for one day. It aims to create awareness of what can be achieved by using less paper and make us all think twice before we press that print button in future. Huge productivity, collaboration and well-being just to name a few.
Improve your efficiency with paper free processes
AIIM found that only 17% of business executives work in what could be described as a paper free office, so there’s still a lot of work to be done. How to get started? Here are 3 ways to go paper free on November 6:
- Consider more advanced ways of capturing and enriching your information making the best of new technologies (digital form, digital signature, mobile capture)
- Adopt business process automation trough simplified workflow collaborative tools and integration with multiple platforms
