Papersoft is one of the 21 Semi-Finalists in the Ecobank Fintech Challenge 2020

Ecobank selected Papersoft for the semi-final phase of the “Ecobank Fintech Challenge 2020”. This stage of the challenge, which started with 647 applicants, grants Papersoft the possibility to partner with Ecobank and develop new banking products.

Papersoft applied for the “Ecobank Fintech Challenge 2020” with its new Digital Branch solution, HiDesk. The participation was motivated by the category of solutions to the problems caused by Covid-19. The HiDesk platform allows Banks and other FinCos to use different digital channels as an alternative to the branch network. This alternative makes it possible to continue operations despite the constraints of the pandemic.

This new approach to the Digital Branch already awarded Papersoft a valuable highlight. Papersoft is now one of the semi- finalists in a Challenge that stated with 647 applicants.

The HiDesk solution guarantees Banks a secure way to remotely serve their customers, without the need for face-to-face interaction. This allows all branch operations to be carried out online.

The semi-final stage

Ecobank selected Papersoft and the HiDesk solution for the semi-final phase of the FIntech Challenge 2020. This phase opens the opportunity for Papersoft to access the Ecobank test sandbox and develop products integrations.

From this stage, Ecobank will identify and create partnerships with African Fintechs that are successful in testing their innovative solutions.
